House plum 'Ontario'

House plum ( Prunus domestica )

A tree of strong growth with a sparse crown. Begins to produce in the 4th-5th year, produces well if the flower buds do not freeze. Winter hardiness is low. Fruits are golden yellow with a grayish frost, round, very beautiful and tasty. The stone separates well. Comes into fruition moderately late, at the same time as 'Victoria' or slightly earlier. Does not crack, does not rot, is transportable.
Self-fertile, blooms late, together with 'Latvijas Dzelteno Olplūmi'. In good garden locations, it is suitable as a pollinator.
