House plum 'Adelyn' ('Adele') (DI variety)

House plum ( Prunus domestica ) 'Adelyn' (syn. 'Adele'), variety registered at the Horticultural Institute in Dobele.

Fruits ripen in the 3rd decade of August, 1st-2nd decade of September, yellow with a red top color (depending on crown thinning and lighting), medium to large, firm flesh, yellow, with good to very good taste. The stone separates well. The fruits can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

It blooms moderately early, is self-infertile, but pollinates very well with simultaneously flowering domestic plum varieties. It produces well and every year.

The tree is moderately vigorous, will persist. It forms strong branches, which should be pruned in the first few years. The crown lends itself very well to shaping. Fruiting branches form abundantly on the pruned branches, which begin to produce in the second or third year.
