We invite you to view the exhibition from May 7th, and on May 16th at 12:00 we will be waiting for you for a conversation with artists Marina Lac and Zareta Gutsunaeva, who, inspired by nature, create flowers from cold porcelain.

The project “Inspired by Nature” was launched in early summer 2019, using the technique of “creating realistic copies of flowers with botanical accuracy on a cold porcelain base.”

As the artists emphasize, the magic of the naturalness of the flowers they made fascinated them and served as a driving force for the desire to learn about living plants, to study their structure, to achieve similarity in tone and composition: "There was a desire to achieve the "liveliness" of flowers, to create the illusion of approaching and leaning closer, as if feeling a delicate aroma. Each subsequent product allowed them to develop the precision of the manipulations performed, the speed of execution, and to get closer and closer to naturalness."

The main goal of the exhibition is to popularize this technique among the population, as well as inspire people to create beauty by learning something new, and develop aesthetic taste in their future lives. The exhibition was first held for a wider audience in January 2024. Since then, the flowers have been successfully touring Latvia.

Entrance to the museum is free!
