An apple tree with very early fruit ripening and a branched, columnar tree.
Starts: very early, before 'White Clear'.
Fruit: large, broadly conical, red striped with a greenish-yellow base color. Flesh is tender, juicy, sweet and sour, tasty.
Tree: Strong, branched column. Yields fairly well, but occasionally.
Blooms moderately late.
Disease resistance: moderate to good against scab, good against powdery mildew. No canker lesions have been observed.
Winter hardiness is quite good.
Recommended rootstocks and shaping: on dwarf rootstocks, the tree branches less and can be shaped like a column. When forming the crown, regular pruning of strong lateral branches in the summer is recommended, limiting the productive part to a width of 30 - 40 cm. On semi-dwarfs, it can also be shaped like a normal, branched apple tree.
